Lego walk in the park...

A lovely lady was walking with her children today and I thought I would snap a pick.  I focused on the cute baby and her son on the bike pedaled faster as to take over the shot.... I love kids!

Time and Space

I used to think that when I had a creative space of my own that I would glue, paint, photograph till I dropped. But what I found was I had created a space to heal, grow and expand.

I didn't know how much I had retreated in my roles as wife, mother, daughter and friend.... but I had.

I lived an died in my daydreams of being free to do what ever beautiful distraction came into my mind.

I am profoundly blessed to find warmth, light and stillness in this space...my studio.


Sometimes I lay on this couch and let the sun warm me thru the french doors. Tears come and warm my face and feel lighter for it.

God has blessed me in my quiet time... make room for yours.

I thought I just NEEDED to create..but I needed to healed.

Create ...because your healing depends on it....

Well Hello Beautiful!!

This green lovely now belongs to me... Little ole me! Squeal!! 

I found her.. no she was waiting for me at my favorite resale store in Portland, Rerun.

I whipped the block like a fiend searching for a vintage fix.

I parked .....walked closer and pounced on the price tag...It could have read "drop off your beloved grandchildren" and I may have contemplated. (not the little one..he's adorbs!)

The cushions are filled with down and I have already washed and wiped her down...

I'm totally in love!!! I will use her for many tea parties and photoshoots!!
